CAPP has been undertaking a marketing campaign in Newfoundland and Labrador since 2012 to inform the general public about the ongoing commitment to the safe and responsible development of Newfoundland and Labrador’s offshore oil and natural gas sector. Through the collaboration of operators and explorers, the province’s local industry is working to a world-class standard in which every individual is empowered to make the right decisions about safety.

 

2018 Advertising

The 2018 campaign focuses on competitiveness and challenges all Newfoundlanders and Labradorians to learn more about the industry and to work together to help keep Newfoundland and Labrador competitive in the global competition for oil and gas investment.

 

2017 Advertising

The goal of the 2017 awareness campaign is to bring attention to the need for Newfoundland and Labrador (NL) to be competitive internationally in order to grow its oil and natural gas industry. Encouraging all parties to continue working together to improve the province’s competitive position on the world stage is the campaign’s central theme and a call-to-action that must be realized to enable industry growth for the benefit of all residents of the province. The campaign also sheds light on the ongoing environmental effects monitoring work being done in NL’s offshore to monitor water, sediment and fish species.

 

2016 Advertising

Those working in Newfoundland and Labrador’s oil and natural gas industry have accomplished a great deal when it comes to developing the province’s offshore resources safely and responsibly, and exporting their knowledge worldwide. As the sector uncovers new and exciting growth opportunities, the safety of the workforce continues to be the highest priority, along with protecting the local environment. The 2016 campaign highlights some of the people working in the industry, and the daily practices that demonstrate the oil and natural gas industry’s commitment to safety, the environment and innovation.

2013-14 Advertising
